These terms govern your use of services provided by GO UK Consulting LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services or using this website, you ("the client") agree to these terms.
1. Services we provide
GO UK Consulting LTD provides accounting, tax, payroll, company formation and advisory services in the United Kingdom. Specific services are agreed in writing through a separate engagement letter or quotation issued before work begins.
2. Engagement
An engagement only begins after we issue you a written quote, you accept it (by email, signed letter or written confirmation), and we have completed our anti-money-laundering identification checks. We reserve the right to decline an engagement at our discretion.
3. Fees and payment
Our fees are agreed in writing before work begins. Where fees are quoted as fixed, they cover the agreed scope only — work outside that scope will be quoted separately. Where fees are time-based, our current hourly rate will be communicated in writing.
Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may result in suspension of services and recovery costs.
4. Client responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- provide accurate, complete and timely information needed for us to perform the agreed services
- respond to requests for clarification or additional documents within a reasonable period
- review and approve filings (such as tax returns and accounts) before submission to HMRC or Companies House
- retain copies of records as required by law
- notify us promptly of any change of address, structure, ownership or circumstances
5. Our responsibilities
We agree to:
- provide the agreed services with reasonable skill and care
- act in your best interests within the limits of UK law and professional standards
- file accurate returns and accounts based on the information you provide
- meet statutory deadlines where you have provided complete information in good time
- keep your data confidential and secure (see our Privacy Policy)
6. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any loss arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the date the claim arose, except in cases of fraud, wilful misconduct or where liability cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you, or by missed deadlines caused by you providing information late.
We hold professional indemnity insurance commensurate with the nature and scale of our services.
7. Communication
We may communicate with you by email, phone, WhatsApp, video call or post. Email and WhatsApp are not fully secure channels — by communicating with us through these means, you accept the risk that data sent through them may be intercepted. We treat all client communications as confidential.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential all information shared during the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law (for example HMRC, anti-money-laundering reports), or with prior written consent.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement by giving 30 days' written notice. On termination:
- all outstanding fees become payable immediately
- we will hand over your records and any work-in-progress on payment of outstanding fees
- we may retain copies of records as required for our own legal and regulatory obligations
10. Anti-money-laundering
We are required to verify your identity before commencing work, in line with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017 (as amended). Where we have suspicions of money laundering or other financial crime, we are legally required to report this to the National Crime Agency and may not be able to inform you that a report has been made.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at sales.go@consltd.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and respond substantively within 28 days.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, images, design, logo) is the property of GO UK Consulting LTD or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute or use it commercially without our prior written consent.
13. Website use
This website is provided for general information only. The pricing calculator on this site provides indicative estimates only — a binding quote requires a written engagement letter from us. We do not warrant that the website will always be available or free of errors.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page, dated at the top. Changes will not affect engagements already in progress unless we agree this with you in writing.
